South Plainfield, NJ, October 18, 2006 - The MedTech Group, Inc. announced the plant inauguration of MedTech Costa Rica, S.A on October 17, 2006. Present at the ceremonial event was The President of Costa Rica, Dr. Oscar Arias Sánchez, along with government officials, the Minister of Presidency, Trade Minister and the Deputy of Economic Section. This new 25,000 square foot facility, which was first opened in 2004 is an FDA Compliant, ISO 13485:2003 certified Medical Device Manufacturing Center. It offers cleanroominjection molding, product assembly and packaging. This plant employs the latest technologyin cleanroom construction, all electric molding machines and full robotics, packaging equipment, a mold repair and tooling facility, as well as the latest quality system, software and equipment.
